Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment that evens out skin tone and exposes fresher, younger-looking skin. This exfoliating treatment uses gentle microcrystals to remove the rough, damaged outer layer of skin and reveal layers of healthy, beautiful skin. In addition, the treatment stimulates the production of new collagen and improves circulation. With microdermabrasion, patients can reduce or altogether eliminate the appearance of acne scars, crow's feet, sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. The treatment may be used as an alternative to injectables (such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel) to rejuvenate the skin.

Chemical Peels

Our medispa offers highly effective chemical peels to treat fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne scars, and other imperfections. Chemical peels accelerate the removal of dead skin cells to expose layers of soft, younger-looking skin. We provide chemical peels of varying strengths to meet the unique skin care needs of our clients:

Light Peels – Light chemical peels often use glycolic acid, a substance that is found in sugar cane. They are very gentle, yet effective, and correct mild skin conditions while creating a rejuvenated look. Light chemical skin peels are an excellent solution for individuals with acne, dry skin, fine wrinkles and lines, or mild pigmentation problems.

Medium Peels – Facial peels of medium strength have slightly more restorative power than light chemical peels. Although customized for each patient, the main ingredient of medium peels is trichloroacetic acid, which penetrates deeper than glycolic acid but remains gentle on the skin. A medium peel can improve the appearance of deeper wrinkles and fine lines, acne, age spots, or discolored or sun-damaged skin.

Deep Chemical Peels - Designed for dramatic results, deep chemical peels produce substantial improvement in damaged or aged skin. Deep chemical peels use a blend of salicylic and lactic acids that greatly reduce or eliminate the deepest wrinkles on the face, as well as drastically improve the appearance of skin affected by aging or serious conditions. Depending on your cosmetic needs, a deep chemical peel is a recommended alternative to more invasive facial procedures.

The Obagi Blue Peel® uses a blend of trichloroacetic acid mixed with a blue base; the solution is applied to the skin in four steps. Each application strips off a thin surface layer of damaged skin, restoring even tone and smooth texture to your skin. The slow-acting blue peel allows our skin care professionals to control the process and the depth of treatment; healthier, clearer, and younger-looking skin then gradually resurfaces.
